Grand Front Osaka/Lucua/Osaka Station: Things to Do in Osaka
Osaka Station is one of the largest train/subway stations I have ever been to, and it serves more purposes than just as a hub for transportation. Besides shopping and dining, Osaka Station also offers a brief respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. While we were visiting, there was a free exhibit for “Flower Art Museum” where people could walk around live flower arrangements or sit on a bench and enjoy the flowers while resting their legs.
Attached to the station is the Grand Front Osaka and Lucua, where shoppers would be delighted to find floor after floor of all kinds of shops. Had I more time, I would have spent all day here. We stopped by to get to the outdoor “gardens” and a small farm on top of the towers and to check out the view of the city. I believe the gardens and viewing floors were at the North Tower. Please check with the information desk at Grand Front Osaka on directions and which floors are available to see the city view, as there may be closures or construction.
